The S family had great plans for a beach family session… that is until Mr. S drove past the location on his way home and it was complete fog.  They called me, I thought “hey, can’t be that bad.”  I was wrong!  Good thing I got there early to check it out.  I couldn’t even see across the street! 

So to Lake Park we went!  It’s the most gorgeous park in Milwaukee.  It’s like our own little Central Park.  And the S family was FANTASTIC!  So much fun and full of life.  It was a great pleasure to photograph them and I hope they love their photos!

Seriously, they’re awesome!  I love the V family.  Tiny little M is almost one and a half and J is FOUR!  Can you believe it, FOUR!  I have photos from her on my blog from my very first days with my business.  In fact, she might be THE first post I ever made. Insane.  Anyway, enjoy the photos!

A few weeks ago, my good friend Jamie from Jamie M Swanson Photography and I swapped family photo sessions.  It’s so hard to actually be IN the photos when you’re a photographer, but you want your grandchildren to look back and know you were there!  So I photographed her family and she photographed mine. 

She did an AMAZING job (and Kora was cranky, but you’d never guess from the beautiful images).

And finally, a really fun family from last night!

I had such a fun time with the S family.  Jamie is actually another photographer (check out her work at www.jamiemswanson.com) and we decided to swap family portrait sessions.  It was a blast!  Her three children are so adorable and full of life.  We played hide and go seek, ate watermelon, and drank lemonade.  It was a great morning!
